The Supervisor will be responsible for leading and directing the manufacturing activities of the various departments as they relate to the overall operations of the plant. The Supervisor will develop and implement systems that result in meeting or exceeding plant goals. The Supervisor works in cooperation with the Production Manager, Planner, Technical, Engineering, Purchasing and Human Resources to insure company objectives are met and company polices are followed.
Lead the Department Coordinators towards meeting plant goals for on time delivery.
Develop systems and procedures that improve overall plant operations.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
5 years’ experience Supervising in a process-oriented operation.
Demonstrated ability to lead change.
Lean and Six sigma experience preferred.
Demonstrate effective communication skills
Develop sustainable systems and procedures that drive results.
Meet departmental budgets.
Prioritize issues and assign appropriate resources for resolution.
Work to maintain production schedule.
Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
Must be an innovative self-starter and open to new ideas.
Must possess advanced PC skills. i.e. Microsoft applications, Crystal Reports.
